Nothing
Butt
Perfect

Understatement brings together 14 powerful women from their community to loudly, proudly and unapologetically claim and redefine the word “perfect”. Together with our community we are flipping the script. Rewriting the rules. Redefining perfection. Reclaiming our bodies. Inspiring. Empowering. Liberating.

"I am nothing butt perfect"
"I thought my body was something to be ashamed of."
"Nobody has the right to comment on your body."
"I want to show women what it is to feel good in your own skin."

Inspiring.
Empowering.
Liberating.

Empowered women

empower women.

Nothing Butt Perfect is all about that—women feeling liberated and empowered through sharing their experiences and being portrayed just as they are. Authentically and unapologetically themselves.

This campaign focuses on the universally relevant experience of being a woman in a world where owning a body, regardless of age, weight, height or the amount of scars and stretch marks, has always been a topic of discussion for others. We are asking real women from our community to strip down, share their understories and deliver the naked truth: “I am nothing butt perfect. You are nothing butt perfect”

"They used to tell me that my bum is too flat and that made me very self-conscious."
"I am worthy of love even though my body looks as it looks."
"Bodies tell stories and so does my body."

“When I was young I always wanted to be a model, but I was convinced that I don’t have the standards of being a model. But here I am today: being a model for Understatement.”

“When I was young I always wanted to be a model, but I was convinced that I don’t have the standards of being a model. But here I am today: being a model for Understatement.”
"If we own the way we look, that's attractive."
"Nothing Butt Perfect simply means being allowed to be who you are"
"I wanted to hide myself."
